Meet the catalyst - our Head Mermaid

Desiree Noisette, founder / vintner

Some might call Desiree Noisette a renaissance woman; others may refer to her as a real-life mermaid. Both are true. As the founder of Mermosa Wines, Florida’s first Black woman-owned wine company with her award winning Oregon-made wines now in major retailers like select Walmart, Sam’s Club, Total Wine and Target, she brings a unique blend of intelligence and creativity with a splash of mystery and magic to the brand.

Meet our Chief Operating Officer / Mermaid Security

Aaron is an owner of Mermosa PDX and has a passion for sharing the Noisette family story through unparalleled, seamless experiences. He grew up in a small town in Nebraska, spending summers in the cornfields and working on construction, electrical and mechanical projects with his father.  He went on to the University of Nebraska to become an industrial engineer.

Aaron’s first job out of college was with Becton Dickinson where he grew out of his role as an engineer and into a supply chain professional.

Aaron Davis, PMP, ICGB

After becoming the East Coast Procurement Manager at BD’s Life Sciences division, Aaron transitioned into the same role at Corning - eventually leading the launch of Pyrex in Japan.  Aaron continued his global supply chain experience at companies like Jabil and multi-state surgical centers.  He is a six sigma Black Belt - meaning he really, really likes efficiency, and is a Project Management Professional who is especially skilled at herding cats (or mermaids) so that projects actually get done.

Now, all these years later, Aaron runs operations for the new Mermosa PDX flagship. He’s also a musician and we are sure you’ll see him playing drums or guitar on stage there soon.  Des & Aaron relocated to Portland, have two boys who are flourishing in Oregon and enjoy exploring waterfalls, mountains and everything in between.

In 2017, Aaron’s wife

Desiree asked him to sell their house

so she could start the Mermosa wine company.

He said…yes.
